  A roadside motel that was clean, comfortable and worth the price. Extra bonus was being a few minutes walk from the swimmable Jackfish Lake. Terry Fox is said to have stayed at the motel and swam in the lake. The hotel probably hasn't been renovated since the days of Terry but I found it charming nonetheless.

  This is a cute and clean motel. Our room had shag carpet from the 70's that we thought was fantastic!! It's definitely dated, but the owners are so friendly and they put a lot of work into the upkeep and cleanliness of the motel. The wifi is slow - but that was no issue for us.

  The motel was neat and comfortable. The owners are very thoughtful. We were on a Terry Fox trip and were thrilled to stay at the same motel he stayed at. Our daughter was over the moon to get to go into the room that Terry stayed in and it was really neat to see that they have kept the room as it was when Terry Fox stayed, shag carpet and all. I would highly recommend this motel.

  Spent the night here on our trip around Lake Superior. Nice friendly folks. Rooms were clean and ours looked like it had been updated with new flooring in the bathroom. Only downside, we stopped right after a hatch of flys, so we had to stay in our rooms and couldn't spend time outside. I would stay here again
